A number of people have asked me where I got the idea to write this book.
The inspiration for Be Big! came from wanting more for my beautiful nieces than stopping at their own judgments about their appearance. What I hope for my nieces, myself, and all of you is that we accept our fears and still find a way to be our wonderfully imperfect selves. That we try to take up our own unique space in the world. That we Be Big.
